PTI accuses MQM-P of trading Karachi's vote in National Assembly
Pakistan
Public will hold MQM-P and PPP accountable, says Aftab Siddiqui
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi President Aftab Siddiqui accused Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) of trading the vote of the people in the vote of confidence for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during a recent National Assembly session.
Mr. Siddiqui claimed that MQM-P had been making such deals for the last 35 years, regardless of whether they were under the banner of Muhajir Movement, Muttahida Qaumi Movement or Pak Sarzmeen Party (PSP).
He added that MQM-P talks about morals but always bargains the votes of the people of Karachi for personal benefits.
The PTI Karachi president further stated that MQM-P's resignations disappeared in front of the cash, and PTI was currently fighting the war for resolution of census issues, for electricity, water and gas supply for Karachi.
He emphasised that the public would hold MQM-P and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) accountable for their actions.
